Healthy Family Pizza Night
  • 100% Whole Wheat Pizza Crust
  • Homemade or store bought sauce - look for one with 5g of sugar or less per serving. We like this Mario Batali Neopolitan Pizza Sauce that has a fantastic natural ingredient list and only 2g of sugar.
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Toppings: green and red peppers, onion, mushrooms, tomatoes, olives, spinach, ham, pineapple, pepperoni, etc.
  1. Make homemade crust according to the recipe {here}.
  2. Preheat oven and pizza stone to 500 degrees F.
  3. Add a few tablespoons of sauce to each pizza crust and a thin layer of cheese.
  4. Add favorite toppings. Have children and guests help with this step! Finish with another thin layer of cheese.
  5. Bake on the preheated pizza stone or cookie sheet for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the bottom is golden and crispy.
  6. Enjoy!
