 A bunch of you are starting a new round of the Feel Great in 8 Challenge tomorrow. {If you’re not, It’s not too late to join in! You can still register at www.feelgreatin8.com :)} You are starting something new and setting huge goals, and I know how overwhelming that can feel. But, here’s the thing, I know you can do it. I have no doubt.

This quote says it all… “It only seems impossible until it is done.” It may seem impossible right now, but I promise it isn’t. All you have to do is give your best. Some days your best will be a perfect score, and other days your best might be a whole lot less than a perfect score, but that’s okay. Just keep showing up. Keep giving your best, what ever that may be. And then, in 8 short weeks, you be at the end. Perfect points, or far from it, you’ll be better because of each and every one of your healthy choices. You’ll be better because you decided to show up and give your best.

You’ve got this. Together, we’ve got this. I’ll keep showing up too. I won’t be perfect, but I’ll be there if you need support or a listening ear. It’s going to be a fantastic 8 weeks.

Just keep reminding yourself…

    It’s interesting that you would use a quote from Mandela, whose imprisonment and adversity seems dramatically different than the challenges we might collectively face; however, not really. In a way, I feel like this extra weight is like a sort of prison in my own body. It keeps me from feeling confident and happy — and I really need to change that stumbling block. Not just the weight, but my own attitude about myself and others. I just had hip surgery, so it set me back 8 weeks– but I am SO ready to take this challenge on! We can do it, nice, unknown friends. Please let me read of your successes, because I know it will inspire and motivate me to change. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!
