What I Ate Wednesday 3/12/14

March 12, 2014 by Tiffany 8 Comments

Last time I asked what things you’d like to see on the blog, more than one person suggested a series called “What I Ate Wednesday.” To be honest, I feel a little silly posting this. Do you really care what I ate on Wednesday? Actually, this is what I ate yesterday, but What I Ate Tuesday doesn’t sound as cool. Anyway, if you don’t care, just skip this post and I’ll understand. πŸ˜‰
Tuesday morning is my hardest weight lifting day, so you’ll notice I had a big breakfast. I also try to eat about every 3 hours. And, I rarely go a day without a little bit of chocolate.
Anyway, in the hopes that it will help you with meal and snack ideas. Here you go…
5am Pre-Workout Snack: 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt, 1/4 cup mixed berries, 1 tsp hemp hearts
{72 calories, 7g protein, 1g fiber}
8am Breakfast: Tropical Spinach Smoothie,Β whole wheat toast with butter, 2 eggs, 1/2 avocado
{560 calories, 26g protein, 8g fiber}
12pm Lunch: Whole wheat toast with 1 tbsp almond butter, green salad, orange

    Thank you, I am trying to figure out how to make this work. I hear of people getting perfect points and I have to remind myself that I joined this not to win a competition but to make healthy lifestyle changes and lose weight. So thank you for sharing these ideas.

      It definitely talks time and practice to figure out how to fit everything in. Be patient with yourself while you figure it out and keep your focus on that healthy lifestyle! Let me know if I can help in any way! πŸ™‚
