What I Ate Wednesday 8/6/14

This poor What I Ate Wednesday post is a few weeks old now. It is from the week of my little guys Gourmet Grilled Cheese Party. Remember how I said I had my favorite grilled cheese sandwich pretty much every day for the rest of the week? I wasn’t kidding. ๐Ÿ™‚

What I Ate Wednesday 7/30/14 - Healthy meal and snack ideas from Feel Great in 8! Includes recipes and nutrition information!

5am Pre-Workout Snack: Shakeology protein shake – 1 scoop chocolate Shakeology, 1 cup water and 1 cup ice.ย {160 calories, 17g protein, 6g fiber}

waffles

8am Breakfast: Whole Wheat Vegan Waffle {with fresh blueberries & pure maple syrup} & 1 scrambled egg.ย {306 calories, 10g protein, 4g fiber}

Lunch

12pm Lunch: Ultimate Gourmet Grilled Cheese Sandwich, sugar snap peas, fuji apple.ย {290 calories, 9g protein, 11g fiber}

Snack

3pm Afternoon Snack: 1 cup raw veggies and 3 tablespoons edamame hummus {this Eat Well Embrace Life brand is my favorite!ย {130 calories, 6g protein, 4g fiber}

6pm Dinner: 2 slices homemade pizza with this Whole Wheat Pizza Crust, small side salad with Skim Milk Ranch Dressing.ย {571 calories, 19g protein, 13g fiber}

8pm Dessert: 2 squares 70% dark chocolate – Millcreek Cacao Roastersย is a SLC farm to bar chocolate maker and the chocolate is to die for!!ย {140 calories, 2g protein, 3g fiber}

TOTAL:
{1543 calories, 39g fiber, 61g protein}
